Revolution: Fort Collins
Mar 18th, 2007 by betherevolution
Revolution started 4 years ago as the college and young adult ministry at Third Day Victory Church. Since then, it has experienced many changes as a way to flex and bend with the community it served.
This summer found Revolution losing a key member to a cross country move and another to a passion for health care reform. In addition, Makeesha’s work load has increased and shifted and David has rekindled his acting career.
Because of these changes, as of this autumn, we have decided to wind down Revolution. The friendships and community and conversation will continue and we trust that the work God started in us will continue to completion but we sense the time for gathering as a church has come to a close…at least for now.
This month, Makeesha and several friends are launching a new magazine called GENERATE. It is a collection of art and stories, interviews and photography and an artifact of Kingdom hope meant to inspire the Body by celebrating the real, honest, often conflicted grassroots Christianity we all live day to day.
We are all volunteer staff and putting out a 64 page, full color publication with a volunteer staff is indeed daunting but incredibly satisfying. If you are interested in supporting GENERATE, we encourage you to subscribe at http://www.generatemagazine.com/subscribe You can also help by spreading the word to subscribers and advertisers alike.

Jesus came with a message:
I LOVE YOU, FOLLOW ME
Join with others on the journey
His greatest commandments?
LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE
Religion tends to add layers of outer garments to that message and those commandments and can make following Jesus a burden instead of an adventure
Our solution?
JOIN the REVOLUTION
BE the REVOLUTION
Do Justice, Love Kindness, Walk Humbly with God
In short….GET NAKED.
