yellow – thanks – pray “Father in Heaven, you are holy, all powerful and glorious” offer prayers of thanksgiving at this time.

red – mercy – pray “Forgive my sins and help me to forgive those who sin against me, Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on me, a sinner.”  confess your sins to God at this time and receive God’s forgiveness.

green – healing – pray “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, set up your kingdom in our midst” offer prayers for those who are in need of healing and for the earth that is in need of healing.

purple – justice – pray “Give us and those in the poorest of nations our daily bread, Holy Spirit, breath of the living God, Renew me and all the world” offer  prayers specific to individuals and people groups in need of God’s hand of justice to move in their lives.

blue – peace – “lead us not into temptation, deliver us from the evil one who seeks to destroy and tear apart” offer prayers for God’s peace to come to individuals and nations that are experiencing turmoil, conflict, chaos.
